This year Jukola was up in the north near Kuopio. It was not far away from the area where World Orienteering Champioships 2013 was held so I was expecting a really tough and challenging terrain. I ran in the first IFK Lidingo team together with Helena Karlsson, Anna Bachman and Annica Gustafsson.
I ran the 3rd leg which was 6,7 km long and as I though before the race, the terrain was demanding. My orienteering technique was OK, however I am not happy about 2 mistakes. First one was by the 6th control and another one was in the end of the course to 12th control. After the 2nd leg, our team was in 3rd position, but then I lost 2 places and Annicca who ran the 4th leg, finished in 9th position.
