This year European Orienteering Championships were held in Palmela, Portugal. Although I was still tired after tough World Cup races, I felt well prepared for the most important championship for me this year. During the preparation period I chose to run Middle and Sprint distances and hoped to be selected for relay team.
The most important race for me was Middle distance final. I didn't have a perfect race and I wasn't feeling fresh after racing whole weekend in Sprint distance, but in the end I finished in 12th position and was very satisfied with this place.
